Yes, we offer our services to both private and corporate costumers.
Where does the testing take place?
The testing is done at your place of stay in Gothenburg, for your convenience. It can be at your home, in your driveway, at your workplace or another suitable place.
How is the testing performed?
Both PCR and antigen testing is performed with a swab that is rotated far back in the nasal cavity. The PCR test is then sent to the laboratory for analysis. The antigen test can be analyzed on location for immediate result (within 20 minutes). We always wear personal protective equipment for your and our safety. The testing is always performed by licensed healthcare personnel.
What is the difference between a PCR and an antigen test?
A PCR test is a more reliable test and requires laboratory analysis. Most countries and airlines require a PCR test for entry. An antigen test is a so called rapid test and the result is obtained within 20 minutes. There are some countries where antigen testing is sufficient for entry. It is your responsibility to find out the rules and requirements for your destination.
What diagnostic test equipment do you use?
We use quality-assured products from reputable suppliers. Our PCR test is analyzed by Life Genomics in Gothenburg, a laboratory accredited by Swedac (Sweden's national accreditation body) for testing according to the ISO 15189 standard. Our antigen test is analyzed with a reliable test kit developed by Abbott called Panbio™ COVID-19 Ag Rapid Test Device (lateral flow), that has a sensitivity of 91.4% and specificity of 99.8%.
How do I know which test I need to take before my trip?
Our service aims to offer testing and issuance of travel certificates. We take no responsibility for what requirements need to be met for your destination. We also do not take responsibility for any changes in different countries' entry rules or the airlines' rules and actions.
We recommend that you obtain information regarding your destination from Sweden Abroad, read the recommendations of The Public Health Agency of Sweden and check with your travel agency or airline what rules apply for your destination including transits and stopovers.
How is my travel certificate delivered?
For PCR tests, the certificate is sent electronically with a GDPR compliant encrypted method as soon as the test result has been received. If the PCR test is performed in the morning the certificate can usually be sent the same evening. Otherwise it will be sent the next day.
For antigen tests, the certificate is issued on site since the test result is obtained within 20 minutes.
Can I track and verify my test result?
When tested with PCR, you will receive a unique ID number that can be used to track and verify your test result at www.coronapassport.se. This information will also be printed on your travel certificate.
What information does the travel certificate contain?
The certificate contains name, date of birth, passport number, date of testing, a unique ID number for your test, a QR code for test result verification, test result, analysis method, name of laboratory and its ISO certification. The certificate is stamped and signed by a doctor with specialist qualification in family medicine (general practitioner).
NOTE! Some countries have their own official certificates that need to be filled. It is your responsibility to find out if this is the case for your travel destination. Otherwise our standard certificate is issued.
What happens if my test result is positive?
COVID-19 is a notifiable disease according to Swedish law. In the event of a positive test result you must not travel and must isolate yourself in quarantine. Consequently a travel certificate cannot be issued. For this reason, our services are only offered to asymptomatic individuals. In the event of a positive test result we will assist you with advice and also ensure that correct measures are taken, such as reporting to The Public Health Agency of Sweden.
It is unfortunately not possible to demand a refund in the event of a positive test result, since the cost for analysis is independent of the test result. However, we can help issue a certificate for cancellation of your trip at no extra cost if you have a cancellation insurance with coverage for illness.
What happens if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
We take no responsibility if your flight is delayed or cancelled. We also take no responsibility if the airline changes its rules or if your destination's entry rules change. The responsibility rests with you to find out what applies to your trip.
Can I be tested if I have symptoms of COVID-19?
You have to be completely asymptomatic for testing. Symptomatic individuals are referred to a healthcare centre for testing.
Do you have to be a Swedish citizen for testing?
We help anyone who is in need of testing for COVID-19 for travel purposes.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, you can cancel your booking up to 4 hours before your booking. Cancellation later than that will be charged with half the price.
How do you handle my personal information?
Your personal data is handled in accordance with GDPR. Also, according to Swedish law, licensed healthcare personnel are obliged to keep record of all healthcare services. This is also important in case your certificate later needs to be verified as genuine. The medical record system we use for this purpose meets the requirements of the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare.
